American Idol top 4

WoW, final 4 baby!! How did that happen so fast??! Tonite was the Best of Rock and Roll....hmm, interesting. Slash? Really. I must be SO far out of the loop here but ok. At least I recognize the name Guns and Roses...but Velvet Revolver what?? Whatev. Here we go...

Adam Lambert ~ Whole Lot of Love - Finally he went FIRST! Ok, this is toootally not my fav genre of music so I'm not sure what to say about this other than I could understand some of the words he was singing. Thank heavens no dramatic entrance tonite. Um, where did he get that v-neck shirt?? Oh. Right. It's a singing competition not a runway contest. Not my fav performance of his but just ok.

Alison Iraheta ~ Cry Baby - I actually LOVED her hair, wow....wish I could pull that off just for fun! This performance was really good in my opinion and she whoops Janice's butt singing any day. This was good, Alison looked and sounded great tonite. Very very believable. Were the judges harsh tonite or what?

Kris Allen ~ Come Together - This was really good too! I mean, come on we all know this boy ain't no rocker but he gave his best effort and while it wasn't spectacular...it was pretty dang good. Way to go. But man, did y'all see his face after Simon was done chewing him up and spitting him out?? Poor guy.

Danny WHATUP Gokey ~ Dream On - Ah, and Danny who is not really a rocker either...really goes for it tonite! Yeah, a few pitchy parts here and there but WoW!! I love this song and thought Danny did it well. I VOTED for him like a hundred times at least....but I gotta go to bed sometime. GO DANNY!!

The Duets were pretty interesting...I'm afraid I gotta admit that Adam and Alison's was way better than Kris and Danny's. But that's just cause of the Rock n Roll flava. I'm just sayin'.

I fear it may be time for Kris to leave...too bad, he got kinda stuck with a difficult genre to fit into. He had a great run and I think will do well in the future! Ok, bring it...what did y'all think?

Yeah, I think I pretty much agree. Except I thought Danny's song was atrocious.

I guess it's Kris's turn to go but I'm sad. They're all 4 really good.

I hope Kris stays, but I dunno if it'll happen.

I totally agree about Allison tonight. She outsung Janis Joplin by a long shot!

I don't know that she outsang Janis Joplin as much as she was just SOBER when she sang. That can help. Or so I hear.

So you didn't mind Danny's last line? I almost hid under my couch.

I don't know how I forgot to stop by and visit you yesterday. But I thought Adam did excellent. Allison did good too and I loved her duet with Adam.

Kris was so-so. And my favorite Danny ...well, not so good.

My thought yesterday was that Kris would go but low and behold, I was surprised when Allison got the boot. But she's going to do just fine. This is the start for this young gal. I think we'll be seeing her around. Maybe Pat Benatar should do a duet with her. You know, the new young rocker with the older. Lol. I can say that since we're the same age; Pat and me.

welll.. I actually don't think rock week was rigged - they have the theme of the week picked out way ahead of time. Sometimes you'll hear a contestant say something like, "I've been looking forward to this week since Hollywood week" or something like that. So... I think it was just unlucky that it was two rockers vs. two non-rockers, but I was mad at the judges for their comments, which were totally biased
