Say it FORWARD

Mom Blogs

5 Minutes for Mom is at it again with another FAB.U.LOUS. idea for a carnival for us to have fun with! This is such a great way to give back and thank the faithful readers and commenters of your bloggy home. I've been so blessed by the sweet ones who comment here at Just Another Day in Paradise so here I go with my Say it Forward shout out...

The first commenter I'd like to highlight is Debbie from Heart Choices.

This sweet lady found her way to my blog and has been such an encouragement to me pretty much on a daily basis. She never fails to leave a note on my posts and lets me know she is thinking of me and praying for me. It just doesn't get ANY better than that, y'all!

Debbie's blog is full of great healthy tips and ideas, thought provoking and inspiring posts, fabulous pictures and just all around fun! Would y'all go over and visit Debbie, tell her I sent you! :)

Thanks so much, Debbie for being such a sweet bloggy friend and for always leaving me some bloggy love...you're the best! :)

p.s. I'm a little late for Friday's post but better late than never right??! :D

I was shocked to see my face on your blog but oh ...how you blessed me, my friend. I had just finished commenting on one of your posts and refreshed my page and ...there it was! You are so kind. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I first came to your blog when you were writing about your first trip to New York City. How excited you were and I loved that. I am originally from Long Island and often went into the city to see Broadway plays and get some culture.

But then, the story of Chloe touched my heart. I was born with a hole in my heart (congenital heart defect) and had open heart surgery when I was seven. This was many years ago in 1960 (yes, I am older) before the modern techniques. For years I was unable to run and play with other children because my lips would turn blue and I was short of breath. I felt separated from other children because I couldn't keep up. But I developed a love of reading and writing. However, after my successful surgery I was eager to catch up and I became quite active. I became a nurse working with cardiovascular patients because I wanted to help them. (sorry this is so long)

Anyway, just let me say that God will use Chloe in ways you cannot imagine. It's amazing how kids can adapt and you write how she is so brave. May the Lord bless you and your family and I will spread the love!

Many thanks to you.

It was so great to see Debbie's face on your blog. She has told me about your blog, about your little girl and how your blog has blessed her. Debbie and I are friends here in Phoenix, and she really is the real deal. She just has a wonderful way of blessing people's lives, even in the midst of some of her own struggles. I'll hope to visit you again. hk
