This Friday, April 25, is World Malaria Day. And through the Bite Back campaign, people can give a one-time donation of just $10 and provide a mosquito net for a child - or a family, if they’re all sleeping in the same place - who otherwise would have no protection from this completely preventable disease. That $10 will also provide education and treatment for people who are already sick with malaria.
Compassion says:
"If you think you’re too small to make a difference, try sleeping in a room with a mosquito."
Every African knows this is true because mosquitoes carry malaria—a tropical disease that kills over 750,000 children each year. That’s one child every 30 seconds. In Africa, mosquitoes make a huge difference in the lives of poor families and children. And it all starts with a tiny bite.

So here’s how you can help.
Click here to BITE BACK and donate a one-time $10 that will provide a mosquito net for a child (you can donate more than that if you feel led). Each net lasts three years, so for $3.33 a year - less than a penny a day - you can save a child’s life.
We might not be able to GO over there ourselves and 'do' something but this is one way we can join something bigger than ourselves and do ALOT of good with just a small amount. I'm totally IN...if you're in too, head over to BooMama's place and give a Shout Out...tell others what you're doing too! :) Thanks, y'all!
