Yes, I did it!! I finished my first book on my list...it was Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult. And let me tell ya, it was a PAGE TURNER, as many of her books are! The setting is quite familiar to me, in the little town of Paradise, PA...Amish country. Jodi weaves a tale of family and love and gives outsiders a little taste of the Amish culture. By the end of the book, you have a greater appreciation for their lifestyle by birth and by choice. You will come away with a broader scope of imagination, that things are not always as they appear. I def. recommend this book (there may be some *words* in this book so there is a qualifier on this recommendation).

I just finished the same book. I really enjoyed it as well. I typically like her books but did start reading Keeping Faith and I had to stop reading it. I was really turned off as the story went on.
