(This is Leslie Corenchuc with her son, Derek and daughter, Karis)
Hi everyone! :)
Just wanted to ask prayer for my dear friend, Leslie Corenchuc...her brother, Troy Hare, recently underwent brain surgery. Below is her update on that surgery. Please pray for Troy, his wife, and their whole family as they may face a rough road of recovery. Praise the Lord that the family is nearby and can help out in many ways! THANK YOU so much for being prayer warriors!!
Hello!
This will be very quick, but wanted you to know that Troy's surgery went 'very, very well'...those were the words of the surgeon himself. Long story short...it started at 1:45pm instead of 8:30am and lasted less than 2 hours instead of 4 to 6!!
The neurologist was in to see him and said he was doing great and actually talking a bit! He knew his last name and was responsive. The 'concern' is that the swelling will worsen over the next 24 to 48 hours...and he may possibly have a seizure due to the bleeding from the procedure. He will be in the NICU for a few days.
I had to go pick up Derek from a friend's house and didn't get to see him, but mom, dad and Niki (his wife) saw him and he was so drugged he couldn't communicate. There is another visiting hour at 8:30 and Niki said if I want to see him 'good looking' before the swelling and bruises...I better go tonight!
Please continue to pray...there will be some hard days ahead in recovery..Dr. says if he recovers well, he could be out in a week or so!! Let's keep praying for a miraculous and safe recuperation!!
Thank you over and over for your prayers...we felt them!!!! It was so evident!!! Thank you!!!
More later, Les
