Lil' bit o' country...

Just across the Mason-Dixon Line is a wonderful place called Maple Lawn Farms. Mom, Chloe and I took a beautiful drive up there to get some hand picked fresh apples! Oh baby, there's nothing like it!! :) I LOVE Fall...maybe it's cause my bday is in October, I don't know but I just love the colors and smells and sights of Fall!

My baby girl...is there anything more gorgeous??!

Chloe thought the "ponkins" were soo neat and she wanted to take the "popcorns" home with us...we had to assure her that they were only decoration! :)

Give me COUNTRY any day!!! :)

(the place has the coolest thing...a maze in the middle of a corn field, hence the "get lost", ha!)

Chloe loves her Mimi!

Not every day is a bed of roses...sometimes life just stinks and that's all there is to it... BUT when you take the time to stop and look around you, there is SO much to be thankful to God for! My life isn't perfect...it never will be, but dang, I'm the most blessed woman! Look at how all the rich colors that make up the tapestry of my life...look at that sweet pea above, it just doesn't get any better than that! I have a wonderful husband who loves me and two children who are the delight of my life and I'm surrounded by my dear family and wonderful friends...and I'm a child of the King! Now, don't envy me ok...I KNOW your tapestry is just as rich and colorful as mine!! :) :)

Blessings, Kari

Hey girlfriend! Love all the photos! I agree, no place like the country. Steve & I have been picking fruit every week since June at Maple Lawn. Cherries and peaches. What a season this has been! Can't wait to sink my teeth into a yellow delicious apple!
