Casting...

Hi y'all!

Just wanted to put a post on here to ask you to pray for Chloe today...she sees Mark Hopkins, the prosthetist today at 10 a.m. They are going to roll the silicone liner up over her leg and then put plaster around that to cast the shape of her leg. This is what they'll use to get the mold for the socket of her NEW LEG! The process is pretty fast but they say kids don't like it...would you pray for Chloe, for peace and calmness for her and once again cooperation! :) My mom is going with me and she's such a big help for distraction! I'll let y'all know how it goes...
Alex got his staples out of his head yesterday...no problem! He said it pinched a bit but he was such a brave boy. He was home sick from school with a yucky cough and cold so it worked out good to hit the Drs. while we were at it. :) Thank you so much for praying for him too!!
Love you all and are so thankful for the blessing of YOU in our lives!!!

HI Keri,
Just wondering how it went today with casting for Chloe? I just now read of your day at the doctors and am praying that all went well and that they got the "casting" set and what they needed for her leg...does it stay on for long? will her big brother be able to leave his artistic design on it? :) The girls love Ezzy's casts for that reason, sometimes the art work is boyish, but not this time....they are full of flowers :) He doesn't seem to mind though :) ha!
Love ya,
Liz

Hiya!! So glad to hear from you.

I had ran into Heather there either last year or the year before that...brings back memories!! Her last name is now Fowler. I saw that the family home was for sale in Jarrettsville and was wondering. Did they sell there home in Airville, do you know? How's she doing, I actually think about her quite often.

How did Chloe's appointment go? Was praying for her.

Des and I are heading to Holland for a long weekend in 2 weeks, can't wait to see a new part of the world. He has a friend that is a street evangelist with OAC (Open Air Campaigners) so we are going to visit with him. Am so excited!!

Love,
Jess

Chloe, I am so proud of you. You are such a big girl sitting so still for Miss Mary. Won't be long now for that new foot!!! We are praising God for His wonderful kindness and grace.
I love you. Grandma

Chloe girl, I'm so excited to see you running and kicking the ball and chasing Alex like the mad woman that you are.
You have taught me the meaning of perseverance.
