We got a border collie for the kids from the NTM headquarters in Goroka. She arrived by plane!! It was a surprise for the kids...they were thrilled!! I was wondering how on earth a puppy travels by box?? :) 
They couldn't keep their hands off of her...we named her Leila!
Chloe loved Leila..."to death" :)
Leila at home in our yard...she proved to be TOO energetic and exciteable for Alex and Chloe, who were kinda frightened by her. Also it was at the time we headed back home to Maryland for Joel's gallbladder surgery...so it seemed time to pass her on to our friends in the village. :)
