So we've been talking for a while about getting a dog for the kids...actually, they've been begging us for years. We have always wanted a big dog like a Golden Retriever or something like that. But seeing as our housing situation has not changed and isn't likely to change anytime in the near future, we currently live with my parents ~ long story. We've had a change of mind about the "dog issue". Anyways, I started searching online and discovered a fantastic website called Petfinder. It seemed to us that if we were to look for a family dog, perhaps we should look at the rescues and shelters first.
Two months later, I was on my way to OH to pick up our newest adopted family member...Quincey. :) He is a 5 month old Cockapoo and the sweetest little puppy! It was the surprise of a lifetime...the kids were speechless and you KNOW that is a big deal! :D So have begun the joys of crate training and he's doing really well so far.
I thought I should finally let y'all in on my bloggy ABSENCE!!! :D We've been buuuusy!!
This is the lady who rescued Quincey from the puppy mill and was his foster home for 2 weeks before we adopted him.
They are SOOOO taken with this little guy...
