an overnight trip to NYC!
We drove up to New Jersey and caught the Ferry at the Liberty State Park.
Inside the old train station turned ferry station were memorabilia from the horrific 9/11 attack on NYC. This was one of subway turnstiles that survived the explosion.
This flag covered a Fire Engine that was crushed beneath a bridge, as it was towed away.
It hung at the NYCFD for months in honor of the men who lost their lives saving others.
