And here's my "stupid sign"...

What happens when Kari is late and has to HURRY...

Yes, I backed my car right into that (invisible) basketball pole...I will never live this one down in my family, esp since we all tease my sister about the time she knocked down the cement maibox to the ground!! Anyways, $1100 later...I am eating humble pie and thanking my husband for responding in the Spirit!! :D

Glad you had a great vaca! We are doing 'life'...I'm sooo thankful for the simplicity in that!

Kate,

I hit my husbands 9-day brand new truck in our driveway and then proceeded to burn up our Suburban engine on our way to take family pictures. I will NEVER live that week down. Praise God, it was years ago now but I remember exactly how AWFUL I felt then. This year the only casualty of my amazing driving skills was my sister's mailbox. I will have to let you know when I add those pix to my blog...and no I don't drink and drive!

Yikes! :) that is something I would totally do!

I pulled up to one of our play groups (it was outside at the park, so everyone saw and heard what I did) this summer, and got too close to the curb and popped my tire. Talk about embaressing. It created quite the scene! :) I have not lived that one down, and I doubt I ever will. :) Thankfully my husband was very gracious about it.

OK, so we're trying to teach our daughter that she is responsible for the lovely gash she tore into a Red Pontiac Firebird(while backing out of a friend's driveway) ... She's sweating it and working hard to pay off the damage. Out goes hubby to pull out of driveway and backs his truck into Angie's car and gives it a nice crease. Thankfully her car is an old tank kind of junker so it only added character.... Humble pie was served that night
